Judith asks the following question about the "Preview Pane" in
Outlook Express:
I've heard that the preview pane in Outlook Express can
expose my computer to computer hackers. Is this true? Can I turn
off the preview pane, and if I can should I?
Answer
That is an excellent question indeed Judith! First of all the "Preview Pane" is
a feature in Outlook Express that allows you to preview the contents of a message
without opening the message up in a new window. For starters the "Preview Pane" is
usually enabled by default in Outlook Express. If you are uncertain as to whether
the preview pane is enabled on your computer take a look at the following screen
shots.
